Through Uni Connect, we engage with more than 30 priority schools and directly fund them to develop and run bespoke programmes of sustained and progressive activity in line with school priorities, learner needs, and the aims and objectives of the Uni Connect programme.

Higher education champions are embedded in many of our Uni Connect schools and their role enables them to engage in, and help coordinate a suite of in-school and outreach activities that raises aspirations and supports progression.

Our work with schools and sixth-form colleges has enabled us to reach some 10,000 Uni Connect learners to date. It also offers a diverse range of interventions, support and opportunities for learners, including mentoring programmes, breakfast clubs, cultural enrichment, campus experiences, information, advice and guidance, revision support, and community-based activities to engage parents and carers.
