Re-Engage: Hastings music workshops

Music to ease post-lockdown transitions

This programme was a collaboration between Hastings International Piano Competition’s engagement manager Tom Elliott, cellist/singer Matthew Sharp and four schools in Hastings and Bexhill. It provided music workshops to help students whose mental health and wellbeing were affected by the pandemic to make a positive transition back to school and aimed to provide a musical experience for students attending schools where music had removed from the curriculum.

Partners: Hastings International Piano Competition and Hastings Opportunity Area

Funding source: Uni Connect

Duration: May to June 2021
