Crafty Learning Resources From Craftyannies

Fun paper-based materials for lockdown learning

For this project, SLN is partnering again with Craftyannies Home, a community interest company in East Sussex, to produce craft kits to engage young people in learning, particularly those with no access to IT at home. Based on graphic art and storytelling, the six paper-based kits are designed to be completed without the need for a computer, tablet or mobile. The kits will be distributed this school year with the help of Hailsham Community Club.

As part of its emergency fund, SLN previously worked with Craftyannies and voluntary agency 3VA during 2020’s first national lockdown to develop learning resources for young people; these materials were distributed via food banks, schools and community groups. For more on the impact of this project, read the case study in Further Information.
