The one-hour webinar, which runs from 3.45pm on Tuesday 22nd March is being led by Dr Sam Baars, Deputy CEO of the Centre for Education and Youth. The CFEY is a think and action tank promoting social equality and dedicated to ensuring all children and young people make a fulfilling transition to adulthood.
During the one-hour workshop, Dr Sam will facilitate insight led discussions exploring how to encourage parents and carers to engage with their children’s education more broadly by:
- Supporting parents and carers to have conversations with their children about education and career pathways
- Helping parents and carers to support with study and homework
- Building relationships with parents and carers who might have negative experiences or perceptions of school
