Sussex Inspires applications now open
Sussex Inspires is the University of Sussex’s’ free programme designed to offer learners support and guidance to shape their journey to university or elsewhere. The programme includes a series of university visits that provide support with choosing the right course, experiencing academic subjects, exploring career pathways, and providing university application support. Learners will also be given priority access to the university of Sussex summer school in July 2027. Learners can choose from Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences or STEM pathways.
Places on the Sussex Inspires programme are limited, with priority given to learners who:
- get the 16–19 bursary
- had free school meals or pupil premium at secondary school
- have lived in care
- are from a Gypsy, Roma or Traveller background
- live in an area where fewer young people go to university
- are estranged from their parents or guardians
- are young carers
- are refugees or asylum seekers.
Applications are now live with learners able to apply here. Deadline for applications is 22nd November. For more information email inspires@sussex.ac.uk.
