Hundreds of students log on for What Next Sussex
Our huge virtual careers and progression fair What Next Sussex is now firmly established as a ‘must visit’ calendar event, with hundreds of Year 11 learners, their teachers and parents and carers logging on for the second ever event on 7th October…
First hosted in 2020 to give young people vital pathway and career information during lockdown, What Next Sussex proved so popular that we hosted it again this year.
Over 40 colleges, training providers, universities and employers from across our region were on hand to help Year 11 learners make key decisions about their futures and they logged on in their droves!
Over 50 schools logged on for the afternoon session with hundreds more learners, parents and carers dropping in for evening session.
The new ‘rooms’ were a particular hit with huge numbers of learners seeking the opportunity to speak on a one-to-one or small group basis with qualified careers advisors, college, university, apprenticeship and SEND providers and even older students.
