University event for refugee and asylum seeker learners
The University of Brighton and University of Sussex are once again offering a joint campus visit for the University of Sanctuary event on Monday 23rd March 2026. This day is for refugee and asylum seeker students who are studying at level 3 or equivalent.
Arrivals are from 9.30am at the University of Sussex with sessions beginning at 10am and at 1.30pm. Students will be walked over to the University of Brighton Falmer campus for the second part of the day, from 1.30pm – 3pm with an optional University of Brighton campus tour at 3pm.
The event will have talks covering student finance, student life, scholarships and a more detailed timetable will be sent around closer to the event. Lunch is provided and all train tickets will be funded.
