Applying to Higher Education
We all know how quickly the UCAS deadlines come around. We’ve highlighted the key dates and links and resources you can access to support your learners and parents and careers through the process.
UCAS deadlines:
- For any course at Oxford or Cambridge and most courses in medicine, veterinary medicine/science and dentistry is 18:00 (UK time) 15th October 2025.
- For the majority of university courses is 18:00 (UK time) on 14th January 2026.

Don’t forget that learners eligible for free school meals (FSM) during the last six years, up until the end of their final year at school or college, do not have to pay the UCAS application fee. The fee waiver aims to open more doors to accessing higher education for disadvantaged students. UCAS have a guide with information on how to support your eligible learners.
