Last year UCAS managed applications from over 700,000 learners. The numbers are huge. But we know, that behind each stat is a young person who is staking their whole future on their application and wanting to get it 100% right.
That’s why we’ve developed a wealth of resources dedicated to making the process smooth, stress free and ultimately rewarding for learners and all those supporting them.
With UCAS deadlines fast approaching there’s no better time to start preparing. Our project website Get Career Confident is dedicated to helping young people make informed, inspiring choices about their futures. Here, learners and their teachers, parents and carers can find our simple ‘how to’ guides on everything from researching universities, to making an UCAS application and writing a university personal statement.
There are also insightful videos on a wide range of topics from making an Oxbridge application to the cost of going to university, degrees students might not have heard of, and even common UCAS application errors. And for parents and carers there are dedicated resources and videos that take them through what to expect from the process and how to support their young person through this important journey

The UCAS deadline for all Oxbridge applications and most 2022 medicine, dentistry and veterinary courses is 6pm on 15th October 2021, while the deadline for the majority of 2022 university courses is 6pm on 26th January 2022.
