The success of Uni Connect in numbers
The national Uni Connect programme is made up of partnerships between universities, colleges and local organisations to help school and college students understand their higher education options. In Sussex, the Uni Connect programme is run by the Sussex Learning Network working with our partners. Uni Connect provides experiences of universities and colleges and information on what higher education is like, including what courses there are and explaining the finance system. The programme aims to ensure that access to higher education is not limited by background an is targeted at learners who are less likely to go to higher education.
Since the launch of Uni Connect in 2017 the programme has worked with 1,512,282 learners . Most recent data (2022-2023) provides a snapshot of Uni Connect showing:
