Contextual offers for your learners applying to university
Some students face additional challenges during their education which may impact their results. Universities recognise these challenges and can make adjustments through ‘contextual admissions’. By looking at learner’s achievements in context, universities may adjust their usual offer based on individual circumstance.
Contextual offers can include:
- a reduced offer
- an offer of a place on a course with a foundation year
- a guaranteed interview
- an unconditional offer
- a course with additional support in place
- giving a learner’s application extra consideration when making an offer.
