Uni & U Programme for Care Experienced Learners
The Uni & U programme for Care Experienced Learners is entering its second year and there are a lot of exciting opportunities for learners. The programme brings together young people from across Sussex with experience of care to fund out more about university. It is a joint project between the University of Sussex, Sussex Learning Network and the Virtual Schools in Sussex.
The programme is for care experienced learners in Years 7-13 and is fully funded (including travel and food) for young people to attend. Opportunities include visiting local universities, meeting university students, trip to London, online mentoring and more! The next dates in the diary are for visits to the University of Sussex and will include workshops with our Get Career Confident Careers Advisers. The dates are:
- West Sussex – 5th November
- East Sussex and Brighton and Hove – 3rd December
