Dedicated results day support
GCSE and A level results days are notoriously stressful. And this year, following a year of unprecedented uncertainty they will inevitably bring anxiety for some Sussex students, but we’ll be on hand with support and guidance…
This Summer, through our flagship careers programme, Get Career Confident, we are going to be offering free one-to one support to all learners and their families on A level results day on 10th August and GCSE results day on 12th August.
Any learner feeling worried or stressed on results day will be able to access the free service at this link where they will be able to choose to speak to a qualified careers advisor over the phone or via a web chat service between 9am and 5pm on both the days. Our careers advisor, Miranda, will also be running live zoom sessions for students and their parents between 12pm – 1pm on both days.
Advisors will give students whose results have taken them in a different direction to the one they intended, helpful, impartial advice on the options still available to them as well as the next steps to consider.

And the good news is that there are plenty of possible pathways out there!’
