Applying to Higher Education
UCAS deadlines come around quickly at this time of year so to help, we’ve highlighted the key dates and brought together links and resources you can access to support your learners and parents & careers through the process.
UCAS deadlines:
- For any course at Oxford or Cambridge and most courses in medicine, veterinary medicine/science and dentistry is 18:00 (UK time) 15th October 2024.
- For the majority of university courses is 18:00 (UK time) on 29th January 2025.

Our Get Career Confident site has videos on a wide range of topics, from making an Oxford or Cambridge application, the cost of going to university, degrees students might not have heard of or even common UCAS application errors. Have a look at our videos here.
Learners can chat online to our qualified careers advisors who are happy to help answer any questions and we have a chat function available on all pages of our site too.
We also have a range of videos to support parent & carers which you can highlight for further information. Four of our parent ambassadors talk about supporting their child into and through university, including topics such as finance, adjusting to your child leaving home and applying to Oxford or Cambridge.
