University of Brighton Online Summer Schools 23rd – 26th July
The University of Brighton’s online summer schools take place 23rd – 26th July 2024 and bookings can be made until Friday 19th July. There is no cost to take part in an online summer school. All students are invited to attend.
The online summer schools offer learners the chance to get a taste of what it's like to study a subject they love at university. They will find out about the university experience from lecturers, current students and university staff. They’ll take part in taster sessions and a subject-specific project that could be used to support their personal statement. Summer school subjects include:
- Architecture and product design
- Art and design
- Business, economics, law, and marketing
- Media, film, and journalism
- Computing
- Engineering and construction
- Geography and environment
- Biological sciences and pharmacy
- Sport
- Health and social work
- Education and teaching
- History, politics and English
- Criminology, psychology and sociology
The programme includes lectures, project support, informal discussions, careers and university information, study skills and fun online social events.
So, what's the difference between in-person summer schools and online summer schools? The main difference is that you can take part from anywhere, at your own pace!
