Using our Get Career Confident  ‘How To’ videos

We have a wealth of informative and easy to use videos on our Get Career Confident website.  Both our ‘How To’ and ‘SeeToBe’ videos can be viewed individually at any time however, some of our videos work especially well when watched in a particular order.  We’ve put together a straightforward overview of best viewing sequences so that the videos build on prior knowledge.

For students choosing GCSE Options

Most schools introduce their GCSE option process between December and February of year 8 or 9 so it is a good idea to show these videos during this time well in advance of subject choice deadlines.

For students deciding on their Next steps after Year 11

Some colleges have application deadlines at the end of the year 11 autumn term, so it’s important that students have all the information they need to make informed choices before then. We recommend the following videos should be shown in Summer term year 10 and/or beginning of year 11.
