It’s long been known that lovely though the long summer holidays are, they can impact learning. In fact a recent study looking at over 50,000 students estimates that children experience an average summer learning loss equivalent to one month of the academic year.
To stop boredom and learning loss setting in, we’ve compiled a list of just a few of the huge range of free activities on offer across Sussex this summer. There’s everything from creative workshops, virtual work experience placements and free arts activities to discover.
