There's so much on offer in the land and environment sector, from agriculture and animal management to blacksmithing, forestry, wine, and horticulture. To support staff finding out more about higher education pathways at Plumpton College, we are delighted to be partnering with the College and would like to invite you to a special face to face CPD event at Plumpton College on 7th February from 4 – 6pm. The session will focus on higher education pathways, looking at routes to sustainable and progressive careers supporting your CPD when advising the young people you work with.
You will hear about Plumpton’s expanding Higher Education offer and take a tour of the fantastic facilities. After the tour, Get Career Confident will deliver a session and there will also be an opportunity to share any of your institutions news or updates and refreshments will be provided.
The agenda for the afternoon is:
- Session on career ready Higher Education pathways by Plumpton College
- Tour of the facilities
- Update on degree apprenticeships, HTQs and HE courses by Get Career Confident
- Sharing news and updates by all participants
The event is aimed at practitioners working in or interested in carers education and progression and is free to attend. It is taking place in person at the new AgriFood Centre at Plumpton College.
