Resources to use with your learners during COP28 (and beyond!)
We’re highlighting three different resources which you can use with your learners during COP28 and throughout the year.
Greener Sussex has a range of resources you can use with your learners or flag for them to use independently. Resources include:
- Lesson plans for PSHE, curriculum or career focused lessons
- Seven videos from ‘why is there an energy crisis’ to careers in the green and sustainable sector
- Directory to find out about courses in Sussex which link to sustainable and net zero careers
WWF careers programme, Sustainable Futures, is free for UK secondary schools and colleges. You can access resources including:
- Certified CPD training webinars
- Certified course for learners aged 14-19 which can be delivered as part of your careers provision, within curriculum subjects or as an extra curricular activity. The pack includes lesson plans, presentations, learner reflection journal, mapping to the careers framework and certificates for learners.

Climate Emergency resources are a suite of materials created by a team of students studying or recently completed a higher education courses in Sussex. These resources are part of our Role Models programme and ask students to consider topics relevant to young people thinking ‘what do we wish we’d known about when we were younger’. Resources include:
- Lesson plan
- Learners workbook
- Video made by higher education students
