Secondary Non-Specialist Maths Teachers Training
The programme is aligned to the NCETM teaching for mastery pedagogy. Participants will:
- - explore and increase their use of a range of pedagogic approaches
- - increase their confidence in planning for progression in maths
- - improve their subject and curriculum knowledge of secondary maths with an emphasis on mathematical structures in key areas.
If there is sufficient space, other maths teachers who don’t fit the above definition but would benefit from this support may also participate
The sessions will run from 9.30am until 3.30pm on Tuesdays on the following dates: 26th September, 3rd October, 7th and 28th November, 12th December 2023 and 9th January 2024.
