Calling all local colleges, universities and employers!
What Next Sussex is the region’s biggest online careers and progression fair and it’s returning on 17th October this year. If you’re a college, university, apprenticeship provider, or local employer and want to speak with hundreds of local students, this could be just the event for you…
For the last four years, we have teamed up with colleges, universities, local employers, apprenticeship and training providers and a raft of qualified careers advisors to create What Next Sussex. The now annual event brings together hundreds of exciting careers and further and higher education options into a single event. The live 90 minute information and advice packed sessions can be accessed for free online by students and their teachers during the afternoon, and by students with their parents and carers, or on their own, in the evening.
Last year over 50 local employers, further education and higher education providers from across the region were represented and hundreds of schools and individuals from the region logged on making it a ‘must attend’ event for those looking for next steps advice, and those looking to connect with bright talent from across the region.
During the event students can book into dedicated ‘event rooms’ to hear chats from employers, colleges and universities or can choose to speak to them one-to-one to ask more detailed questions.
If you’re a local further or higher education provider, employer or training provider and would like to be represented at the event, check out our dedicated What’s Next Sussex events page and register to get involved.
We’ll also be taking bookings from schools and students from July so watch this space!
What Next Sussex is jointly funded by Sussex Learning Network, the East Sussex Careers Hub East and Coast to Capital Careers Hub.
