Parents and guardians event


Join our evening event for parents and guardians on Tuesday 13 June 2023, designed to help you guide your young person through their journey to university.

Find out expert information on the general application process when applying to UK universities, different course options, careers advice and how a student can fund their time at university.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • hear from a panel of our current students and ask questions
  • get practical advice from our expert staff
  • find out about pathways into Medicine
  • discover how to pursue Higher Education as a mature student
  • understand the different support services available
  • explore our campus beforehand using our self-guided tour.

The event will run from 5.30pm to 8pm. In the weeks leading up to the event, all registered participants will receive further information and details to help you plan and prioritise the talks that interest you the most.

Refreshments will be provided.

Travel reimbursements will be offered by the Widening Participation team, as part of the Sussex Access Programme.
