Throughout the year we run regular sessions for school and college staff working on Uni Connect projects, to help them stay on top of the latest thinking and be inspired by each others' innovative initiatives. Why not join us for our next one?
Run at the end of the school day and lasting for just one hour, our Uni Connect Forums offer an easy way of staying on top of all the latest research, thinking, resources and best practice in this fast-moving area so that you can keep things fresh, relevant and engaging for the young people you support.
Regular attendees also tell us that our Uni Connect Forums are invaluable for networking and building practical working partnerships with other schools, FE colleges and universities throughout the region.
Our next session is going to run on Thursday 27th April from 4pm -5pm and we are delighted that we will be welcoming Haili Hughes as our guest speaker for the session. Haili is Head of Education at IRIS Connect and Teacher Development Lead Mentor at the University of Sunderland and is passionate about giving disadvantaged pupils the best life chances – a theme that she will be exploring in depth in her talk: ‘You Make a Difference’.
