Discover our brand new GRT teachers’ resource
We know that it can be daunting working out where to start, when you’re looking to support a particular community of students to feel more included, or wanting to support their progression journeys. But we’re here to help…
We’ve worked with the University of Sussex, in consultation with a wide range of community practitioners, to create a brand new, free teaching resource to take you through four steps that you can take to better support GRT students in your learning environment.
The dedicated resource, sets out:
- How you can help GRT students to feel included and supported in your community.
- How you can build a relationship of trust and respect with GRT parents.
- How you can help challenge stereotypes across your learning environment.
- How you can empower GRT students to make informed choices about their future.
Each of the sections sets out practical steps you can take, initiatives you can set up and wider resources you can access to support your efforts. The teaching resource also includes a carefully curated list of organisations you can approach and resources you can turn to help you enhance your inclusivity drive.
