Time is ticking and our What Next Sussex virtual careers and progression fair is now just around the corner! Make sure to reserve your spaces for the must visit 6th October event…
This year’s What Next Sussex offers you and your learners a chance to interact with over 50 education and employment providers from across the region – giving young people the opportunity to gain an inspiring overview of the many post-16 options open to them in just 90 minutes.
On the day (Thursday 6th October), young people can opt to join an afternoon session from school between 1.30 – 3.00pm or an evening session from home between 6.00 – 7.30pm. You can join on the day by visiting www.getcareerconfident.co.uk/what-next-sussex and you can receive regular updates in the run up to the event by pre-registering here.
During each session students will have the opportunity to ‘visit’ and hear from colleges, sixth forms, universities and a wide range of apprenticeship and training providers across the region enabling them to ask all the questions they want about studying, apprenticeship and employment options. There will also be lots of brand new video content released on the day, to support learners making their next step decisions.
This year, students will also be able to access a dedicated ‘Green Room’ – part of our Greener Sussex programme. Here, students will be able to find out more about the huge range of new qualifications and roles available in one of the UK’s fastest growing sectors.
As well as giving students the chance to gain broad inspiration, the What Next Sussex event also gives young people the opportunity to access more tailored advice. They can talk with older students who have pursued similar pathways to the ones they’re considering and can also chat one-to-one with fully qualified careers guidance experts.
The number of places available per school is unrestricted, but you will be required to enter your details to join the event on the day.
