If you are looking to enhance your whole school or college approach to mental health and emotional wellbeing (MHEW) this September, why not kick start your efforts by attending ISEND’s day of dedicated CPD training this summer?
The all-day event (8.30am – 4.15pm) is being held at Sussex University and is designed to enhance the confidence, skills and knowledge of anyone responsible for creating or implementing the MHEW ethos in their school or college.
At the conference staff will be able to participate in practical workshops, hear from experts and benefit from school staff, young people and parents sharing examples of best practice strategies, techniques and approaches to try.
The day will focus on the benefits of developing a whole community approach and will help attendees boost their knowledge of local MHEW services.
The ISEND Mental Health Conference is being held at Bramber House at the University of Sussex on Friday, 1 July from 8.30am. Places at the conference are limited to 150 people and demand is expected to be high, so register your interest quickly by emailing the East Sussex Careers Hub team at: Enterprise.Coordinator@eastsussex.gov.uk or by visiting the Careers East Sussex events page here.
