Get Career Confident has a bank of 50 ‘SeeToBe’ videos that give young people an inspiring glimpse into what’s involved in a wide variety of job roles, from film maker and zumba instructor through to veterinary nurse, apprenticeship plumber, solicitor and sound engineer.
Each video is introduced by someone local to Sussex, who loves their role and who talks openly about how they got into it, what’s involved on a day-to-day basis, what they find most rewarding and the advice they’d give to anyone wanting to follow their path.
The videos provide valuable inspiration both for young people to discover in their own time and for careers advisors and teachers to use during careers discovery sessions.
