‘Redressing the balance: Research exploring views of university engagement activities and how they could be developed in the future’

This report describes perceptions of a policy initiative, known as Widening Participation (WP), which aims to reduce social inequalities and increase social mobility.  The report is based on the findings from a research study which involved in-depth interviews and group discussions among those with a special interest in WP and how it is applied and was carried out by Vanessa Stone de Guzman at the University of Brighton.

The study was funded through the HEFCE funded National Network for Collaboration Outreach (NNCO) of which the Sussex Learning Network was one of 33 partnerships delivering (2015-2017)
