As part of the National Collaborative Outreach Programme, the Sussex Learning Network has been working on a range of projects that help to close the gap and encourage more young people into higher education. Alongside our projects, we invest in Research to help us inform planning and delivery and we are pleased to invite tenders for two different pieces of research:
What does ‘young working class’ look like and mean in Sussex?
This research will offer greater understanding in a localised context and will apply both quantitative and qualitative data to build a picture of what the specific challenges are for this target group. Through the research we hope to build a greater understanding of this demographic in the county and the challenges this particular group of young people have.

How engaging with third party organisations can expand capacity
This research will scope-out and determine the effectiveness of third party organisations who provide CEIAG and/or motivational and aspirational activities and services. (Predominantly web-based and online provision specfically within schools and colleges).
