Learning Space is a weekly drop-in educational and language support session run every Wednesday evening from 6-7pm at the BMECP (Black & Minority Ethnic Community Partnership) Centre on Fleet Street in Brighton, BN1 4ZE.
Set up by The Hummingbird Project, the relaxed drop in space offers young people aged 14-25 years who have experienced gaps in their education, or who are struggling with language barriers the chance to catch up on work they have missed in a relaxed and friendly setting.
The free, drop-in club is run by qualified teachers who are able to help young people with their work whatever level of education they are studying at. Young people unfamiliar with the UK education system can also access support with college and university applications as well as CV writing.
