Student network

The Sussex Learning Network (SLN) is funding a new series of projects for prospective and current vocational learners across Sussex. These projects will be directed and produced by students themselves, with the backing of their teaching staff. The first of these projects is the student network, an interactive web presence.

e-Newsletter for vocational students

An electronic newsletter, with resources, stories and information for vocational learners across Sussex will be released bi-monthly. Like the student network, this will be researched and produced by students.

About the student consultancy team

The consultants are current students in media, web design, journalism and education. They will collaborate closely on the projects. Employers and teaching staff value the skills needed to work with others from different backgrounds and specialisms. These projects will be an opportunity for paid work experience in students' course of study, including project management. This team will make a unique contribution to raising the profile of vocational learners – including their own.
