"What is a modern apprenticeship?"

Modern Apprenticeships provide quality work-based learning for young people. There are 2 levels of apprenticehip:

Foundation Modern Apprenticeship (NVQ level 2 - equivalent to GCSE)
Advanced Modern Apprenticeship (NVQ level 3 Equivalent to A level or BTEC National).

Apprentices receive a wage or training allowance.
