"What is a foundation degree?"
A foundation degree is a modern, vocational higher education (HE) qualification that combines study and hands-on work experience. Employers are involved in designing the courses, which include work-based learning.
A foundation degree is equivalent to the first 2 years of honours degree study and many foundation degrees can be 'topped up' with further study to become an honours degree.
