Unionlearn launch careers advice line

On Tuesday 11 September Unionlearn formally launched its new, free learning and careers advice line, in partnership with learndirect, at the TUC Congress in Brighton. In its first month some 700 enquiries were received online and by telephone from trade union members seeking advice on how to further their education, available courses and new career directions.

The Sussex Learning Network is working with Unionlearn to look at information, advice and guidance for vocational higher level courses. Work is underway to look at how the SLN can best support the needs of trade union members through collaboration with a range of brokerage agencies.
