SLN publishes second year review

The SLN has published a review of its second year of activity, highlighting key areas of development and progress against the delivery plan 2006-08. The review includes commentary against each of the areas of activity set out in the SLN's delivery plan, together with appendices providing more detailed financial information, progress against targets, and membership of the SLN network groups.

Highlights from 2006-07 include:

• the launch of the Learning opportunities site and associated print materials and staff development opportunities
• the establishment of the Student network, developed by and for vocational learners in Sussex
• the development of progression agreements creating guarantees for learners at a range of levels and institutions across four areas of the curriculum, with more in development
• the launch of the new Employer zone, with information on what higher education can offer employers, inlcuding case studies, fact sheets and access to a wide network of support locally.
