Exploring Learning Technologies
Creativity Centre, University of Brighton

In February, we are meeting in the Creativity Zone at the University of Brighton and we will base our activities on the concept of a poster display at a conference, but instead of posters, we will have a number of contributors sharing what they are doing in elearning and there will be opportunity to try  out a number of different technologies for yourself.

This event offers some 'hands-on' opportunities for interaction with a number of innovative learning technologies. Members of The Open University OpenLearn team will be available to introduce free online study materials and provide editing support. As always with our SLN events, you will be able to discuss and exchange ideas with other Sussex practitioners.

An update on the e-learning project

The e-learning wiki contains a wealth of information about what is happening both in Sussex and beyond in elearning.

Currently, you will find reports of our various workshops and conferences including the work we have done with the Sussex University Creativity Zone and our recent hands on workshop where participants developed material to upload to the OpenLearn website. We also have details of our mapping activity – who is doing what in Sussex (if we have missed you out, please feel free to edit the wiki and share what you are doing with others). There is information about the various projects team members are currently engaged in and links to other interesting sites including the Open University OpenLearn project.
