Community and voluntary sector learning and skills in Sussex - independent evaluation of the Learning Together Project

An evaluation of the Learning Together Project has been released. This community learning initiative was funded via the European Social Fund through the Learning and Skills Council, and ran from 2004 to 2006, delivering a range of over 20 different courses and learning opportunities to 773 learners in Sussex. The evaluation report will be of interest to anyone involved in the learning and training / further education sector, and to those engaged in the community and voluntary sector. The report includes information and analysis about the community and voluntary sector in general, as well as specific evaluation of this programme. The report includes:


• A fresh analysis of the size and scope of the community and voluntary sector in Sussex (page 10)
• Modelling of and information about learning and skills in the sector (pages 7-9 and 12-13)
• Full evaluation of the Learning Together ESF funded partnership (page 14 onwards)
