Learning at work: learning what works in Sussex
17 Jan 2007

Innovative approach to SLN annual conference
Our 2006 two-day conference was extremely successful and provided a starting point for much of our work in relation to vocational learning in Sussex. This year, in response to feedback from employers, practitioners and students, we want to ensure that the different issues concerning subject specific areas and related employment are fully explored.
Our conference on 20 and 21 June 2007 will therefore have an ambitious format and both days will be of interest to education providers, employers and students. On day one there will be a series of parallel subject specific conferences at a range of Brighton venues. On day two, at the University of Sussex Bramber House conference centre, there will be an opportunity to attend sessions with a more cross curricular flavour. Further details of the programme will be available in February and online bookings can be made from March. Delegates can choose to attend one or both days so please put the dates in your diary.
The event will be subsidised by the SLN so fees will be minimal. Day one will be free and there will be a small charge for day two.
