FREE CPD session on higher apprenticeships

Sussex Learning Network is presenting a FREE CPD session for partners.
The Higher apprenticeships seminar on 13 October looks at this exciting new way of learning at higher level through the eyes of a sector skills council and of a university provider. Ian Carnell of Semta is the Frameworks Manager for higher apprenticeship in engineering technology and Hugh Joslin works for the Centre for Work-Based Learning at the University of Greenwich and they will explain what higher apprenticeships are and give case studies of how they were created from a number of sectors.Higher apprenticeships is a key area of government skills policy but, as a relatively new concept, is not widely understood yet.
