Learning Opportunities is an award winning service for all those interested in developing their careers via work-based and work-related learning and development. It provides advice for people in work, hoping to return to work or about to join the workforce plus those who develop, support and employ them. Learning Opportunities makeover!

In order to reflect the current climate it is now divided into three sections:

• Learning Opportunities - all the valuable information outlined above.
• Working Opportunities - local advice for job searching in the South East
• Enterprise Opportunities - local advice about starting and growing a new business. These resources have been developed for the Gatwick Diamond area but are useful for anyone in the South East.

Learning Opportunities is a successful model of information, advice and guidance that uses web, email and telephone to provide support to individuals. It is a five year initiative that continues to develop to take account of the external climate and the needs of its audience.

Learning Opportunities in the South East received a National Careers Award in 2009 as the outright winner of the category for Supporting Adults. It has been publicly funded and it is hosted by the University of Brighton. From January 2011 Work and Learning Opportunities c.i.c have been contracted by the University to run this service.
