Who should attend?

Tutors/teachers/practitioners in media, film, music, performing arts, fine arts/graphics and interactive design courses/programmes at Level 3/4.  Curriculum leads and departmental heads/subject specialists are particularly encouraged.

What will I learn?

You will have an opportunity to view the new theatre and hear about future developments. The theatre tour will begin at 15:15 and will finish in time for the event will begin at 16:00.

This is an informal gathering to meet and share experience in two key areas:

• employer engagement
• progression agreements

You will hear details of an employer-engagement activity on offer locally for your students in media and film in 2008.

In addition, the Creative Arts and New Media SLN representatives will share their experience of local progression agreements and the benefits to students and institutions.

Other incentives?

Refreshments/sandwiches will be available and if you wish to claim travel expenses you will be able to do so on the day. You are not expected to stay for the entire time.  If you arrive late /leave early that’s fine with us.

Where?

Central Sussex College, Haywards Heath. Please go to the main reception on arrival. Parking is available at the College – directions available through the Central Sussex College website.
