Celebrating Apprentice Progression
16 Jan 2012

Sussex Learning Network is celebrating National Apprenticeship Week (6-10 February) by running a free event at the American Express Community Stadium on the morning of 9 February.
You are warmly invited to attend in order to meet apprentices and ex-apprentices and hear their stories. The aim of the conference is to celebrate the achievements of apprentices in Sussex who have progressed to education at level 4 or above and to illustrate the progression choices open to advanced apprentices thanks to the Apprenticeship Admissions Pledge signed by nine higher education providers in Sussex.
The event is predominantly aimed at:
- staff who work with apprentice including trainers, tutors, mentors and advisers
- people who provide information advice and guidance to apprentices and would-be apprentices
- higher education lecturers and admissions tutors, especially those with an interest in foundation degree, HNC/D course or other work-based learning programmes
- those working with higher apprentices, supporting students post-apprenticeship and those interested in routes into and through higher-level learning
Please register your interest here, or click here to visit our apprenticeship Facebook page.
We look forward to meeting you there!
