Apprenticeship Week 2010 and the SLN
29 Jan 2010

Northbrook College is poised to deliver the first live modules to the Strategic Health authority as part of the Network’s Centre for Work and Learning project.
Northbrook will be delivering training to 60 Healthcare Managers who are supporting apprentices in their workplace. The South East Coast Strategic Health Authority has employed a significant number of apprentices, easily meeting the very stretching targets that were laid down for this by the Government.
This training course will help healthcare staff to have a better understanding the needs of their apprentices and how to help them succeed in their qualification. The training will be delivered at three venues, covering Kent, Surrey and Sussex and will allow staff the opportunity to train in their own workplace.

SLN is also promoting better progression routes to higher education for apprentices.
