32 percent of graduates look for employment leading to a professional qualification

The
UK Graduate Careers Survey 2007 produced by High Fliers Research in association with The Times has been released.
The survey showed that of the 17,170 finalists surveyed:
- 24% were planning postgraduate study as an alternative to graduate employment
- 32% of finalists looking for jobs listed 'gaining a professional qualification' as a very important element of their first employment
- 29% of finalists looking for jobs listed 'using the subject you studied' as a very important element of their first employment
- 27% of finalists looking for jobs listed 'a job that allows you to give something back to community' as a very important element of their first employment.
